NOVA Cinema Awards is an international online film festival designed for creators, directors, screenwriters, and independent teams who wish to showcase their work to a new audience and receive a professional festival evaluation, free from geographical constraints.

We chose the online format deliberately. Modern cinema has long transcended specific cities and venues, with talented creators working all over the globe. An online festival unites diverse countries, genres, and creative approaches in a single space, eliminating the need for travel, extra expenses, or physical attendance at an event.

All submissions undergo a selection process, after which the chosen projects are evaluated by a jury within their respective categories. We value not only technical execution and visual aesthetics but also the underlying idea, the creator's unique vision, and the work's ability to leave a lasting impression on the audience.

NOVA Cinema Awards was created not merely to name winners, but to ensure that compelling independent works gain greater visibility. We strive to make the participation process clear and meaningful for every creator. Entries are reviewed individually, and at the end of the season, participants may be designated as an Official Selection, Finalist, or Winner. Selected projects also have the opportunity to be showcased on the festival’s official website-whether as a full screening, a trailer, or a dedicated project page-subject to the creator's consent.

The online format ensures the festival program remains accessible to a broad international audience, allowing viewers to discover films regardless of their location. At the same time, we maintain a clear, professional participation process-from submission and evaluation to the announcement of the season's final results.
